"It's definitely powerful. I don't find myself as sexy as everyone thinks. I'm a lot more insecure than people would assume, but with little stupid things. When I get dressed, I'm always so indecisive."

On being in Playboy:
"It was an independence thing for me. I was always by the book, such the straight arrow when it came to pleasing my parents and being a good daughter. I felt like this was one decision that only I could make. And I think it looks great. I'll have those pictures forever."

On having every aspect of her family's life recorded:
"If there's something that we're going through, it's going to get out anyway. It'll be on the cover of a tabloid, and it'll be twisted the completely wrong way. So why not tell our story?"

On women being comfortable with their body:
"It's a process. You have to learn to accept it. You have to learn to like what you see in the mirror. There are definitely times when I don't feel like myself, but you have to fake it until you make it."

Wearing only silver body paint, the E! reality star, 29, appears on the November issue of W.



In the issue, she opens up about her public perception.

“I’m not a drinker, and when I’m up on the table dancing, it’s for the picture,” she says. “Then I sit right back down. I play into the perception of me, but it’s not really me. And the show reveals that.”

She credits her E! reality show for improving her self-esteem. “I used to think, I have to be this or that or skinny, and now, because of the show, everyone is embracing just me, which has given me such a confidence,” she says. “Now, I’m like, Why did I ever give that feeling the time of day? I’m so mature now. I’m a grown-up version of myself.”

The July/August issue of Muscle & Fitness Magazine is running a cover story about Kim Kardashian and her new fitness & training plan.

According to the article, Kim has been doing workouts with trainer-to-the-stars Gunnar Peterson, who has also worked with Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie and Matthew McConaughey. Kim claims that she wants to “represent a girl who’s working hard to get in shape.”

“I want to represent a girl who’s working hard to get in shape,” she says. “It’s a process. People want the easy way out and the easy fix, but there isn’t one.”

Diet: Kim says that she feels guilty when she cheats on her diet now that she’s trying hard to get fit.
