Kristin Cavallari Sweet in Saturday Night Mag

Kristin Cavallari Sweet in Saturday Night Mag

    ON returning to The Hills
MTV had asked me for the past four years to come on the show but the whole reason I didn’t is because it was Lauren’s show and I felt like if I went on, it would have been the same thing as Laguna Beach, where Lauren and I would probably be fighting over some guy. So, I really wanted to focus on acting and challenge myself in other ways. Then with her leaving, they were really putting the pressure on me to come back, so I thought, “Why not? I have no real reason not to.” I am really glad that I went back because I have had the best time.

    On being single
I don’t know. I have always had boyfriends my whole life up until about two years ago when I broke up with my ex-boyfriend. I have really enjoyed being single for the past few years, but I think that now I am ready to have a boyfriend if the right person came along.

On the best piece of advice for single girl readers
Oh man…[laughs]…enjoy it. I feel like the grass is always greener on the other side, but I am trying to just live in the moment and enjoy what is happening. Just try to enjoy life as it comes.

On aspirations to launch a clothing line, makeup line or perfume line anytime soon
I love clothes, but I’m not a designer. I wouldn’t know what the hell I’m doing. I am obsessed with shoes, so maybe I would do a shoe line one day, but as of right now, I don’t have any plans for any of that stuff. I just feel like everyone is doing it.

Jessica Alba Smiles in Self

    Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba looks adorable as ever in a DKNY top and Citizens of Humanity corduroys on the February 2010 cover of Self Magazine. Here are the fun facts the 28-year-old actress spilled:

On being a politician if she wasn’t an actress:
“I used to think being a marine biologist would be the best thing ever, but now that I’ve grown up and seen things in the world, I think politics. Advocating and lobbying for certain issues would be a pretty interesting way to live your life… When I was in Washington, D.C., I got to meet Nancy Pelosi. She was so warm. I just grinned from ear to ear with my mouth open and my eyes bulging out of my head! Afterward, I called Cash and totally geeked out. I was beside myself. Tickled pink! The fact that a woman is speaker of the house? Oh, my God!”

On how she blows off steam:
“Honor is the best cure for stress. When I spend time with her, I get instant perspective. I can be hard on myself if I don’t do everything perfectly. But now that I have her, there’s no time for that. I want to teach her that you can learn from your mistakes, and if you keep moving and stay positive and loving, everything will work out.”

On what she does in the Internet:
“I’ve bought 70 percent of my house off CraigsList! I’ve found so many things: couches, tables, lamps. I love the idea of recycling furniture and there being a history there.”

    On her marriage:
“I love the way I feel after Cash and I wake up. Or talk on the phone. Everything! Every time I see him or talk to him, I fall in love with him all over again.”

    On life in 10 years:
“I’d love to be raising my kids on a farm in the South of France. My mother-in-law has lived there for more than 20 years, and she has a beautiful setup. I want to be able to allow Honor and my other kids, who I hope to be blessed with in the future, to maintain their innocence for as long as possible. There is so much time to be an adult.”

Katharine McPhee Sexy in red Bikini In Shape Mag

    Katharine McPhee pictures

American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee is showing off her hot new blonde hairdo - as she talks about why she chopped off her trademark brunette locks.

The 25-year-old singer, who has been open about her battle with bulimia, opens up during an interview with US magazine Shape.

She reveals the reason behind her stunning new platinum blonde look - and how she took the plunge to change her image.

'I was feeling rebellious,' McPhee explains, describing the moment she told her hair stylist she wanted a new do.

'That's when I knew I wanted something big. So I said to my stylist: 'Just chop it all off and make me a blonde!''

McPhee then celebrated her dramatic hairstyle by buying herself a new wardrobe.

'I felt edgy and playful,' she says. 'I went out and bought new clothes for the new me. It was definitely a good thing to do.'

The former bulimic is also confident about her figure, which she keeps in tip-top shape by working out with an LA-based personal trainer.

'The more I focused on my weight the worse my bulimia got,' says McPhee who completed an outpatient programme to combat her eating disorder in 2006.

'Now I'm more easygoing. I stopped fighting myself and became more forgiving of my body.

'Ironically, the weight came off naturally through exercise but no dieting.

'At my last physical, the nurse took my vitals and said: 'Wow, you must be taking care of yourself! Your blood pressure is perfect. You're very healthy'.

'Hearing her say that made me feel better than seeing an 'ideal' number on the scale.'

Hot Mila Kunis in Esquire Magazine

Natalie Portman: No Nude Scenes And No Holocaust Film

The actress said she had deliberately shied away from "sex object" status after her Lolita-esque role in Leon, aged 12, prompted a flurry of "weird" letters from men.

"The good-girl image was something I consciously cultivated after Leon," she told Elle magazine.

"There was a lot of controversy about the whole Lolita thing. My parents were super-protective about it, but I got a lot of weird letters. It was really upsetting. I didn't want to be seen as a sex object, so I went in the opposite direction.

"I'm definitely not a prude about sex or nudity, I just don't want to do something that will end up as a screen grab on a porn site."

The star of Closer, Garden State and the Star Wars movies recently played a Hasidic bride in New York, I Love You - the first role that plays on her Jewish heritage.

She explained: "I've always tried to stay away from playing Jews. I get, like, 20 Holocaust scripts a month, but I hate the genre. That was the first thing to come my way that really intrigued me."

The actress is now ready to tackle a comic role. "It wasn't that I didn't want to do comedy, it's just just that I would only get offered girlfriend parts in guy comedies where the woman has to have a job in fashion so that she can have nice clothes, and her goal is always marriage. I'm more interested in finding characters that make me laugh."

Taylor Momsen Does Seventeen Magazine

    Taylor Momsen Does Seventeen Magazine

"Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen graces the cover of the new Seventeen magazine this month, looking like her typical rockstar and radiant self. In the issue Taylor dishes about her style, her inspirations, and what it is that truly makes her happy — and here’s a hint, it’s definitely not the glamorous life she leads on the Upper East Side!

She tells the mag, "I always have on a little vintage crystal circle necklace, a bunch of bracelets that I wear all the time, my two pinkie rings, and I'm always wearing hoops in my ears — those never come out."

Also among her favorite things to wear are pieces that don't fit like a glove. "I like to wear a lot of baggy things. Like, I buy guys' clothes, like T-shirts, and I cut them up and wear them loose, but my blazers have to be really fitted. I also like layering things and really short skirts — or showing off my legs." (Those legs, by the way, are not always an asset though. She says they make her a total klutz. "I mean, I'm like Bambi. I fall all over myself because I can't control my arms and my really long legs.")
