Amanda Seyfried Gets Interview

Amanda Seyfried - Interview magazine March 2011 issue

Amanda Seyfried covers the March issue of Interview, opening up to Timberlake about the comparisons between her new movie — Red Riding Hood — and The Twilight Saga.

“I think it’s hard not to compare ‘Red Riding Hood’ because Catherine [Hardwicke] directed the first Twilight. But ‘Red Riding Hood’ is a very different film. I mean, yeah, there’s a love triangle, and people can easily compare the relationship between Kristen Stewart and those two guys in ‘Twilight’ to the Valerie, Henry, and Peter characters in this movie, but we have so many elements that make it completely different,” she says.

On being multi-talented: ‘I think my singing background has actually helped me tremendously. It certainly has something to do with why I am doing what I am doing today. So, obviously, it means something. But people just don’t seem to feel like it’s as important to have a variety of skills as a performer like that anymore.’

On whether her parents always supported her interest, even as a child performer: ‘Oh, yeah. They loved it. I honestly think they were as cool as parents get. They loved me being happy. They both worked, but they both had enough time to spend with me. So I didn’t really go into the arts for any specific reason. It was just to find a vessel for all of my energy. And also because I’m not good at anything else. I’m just really not equipped for, say, academics or sports.’

Mary-Kate Olsen Covers Interview Magazine

Mary-Kate Olsen strikes an artistic pose in the March 2009 issue of Interview Magazine. It’s a great feature, so here are some snippets:

I know you also have a place in L.A. and you go back and forth a lot, but do you think you’ve made New York your place? I’m definitely bicoastal, but I have to say, it’s easier to live in New York than in L.A. I feel like people respect other people’s space a bit more here. Everyone has the right to that freedom, right? Everyone has that right. It’s freezing in New York right now. In L.A., it’s sunny. But I would choose freezing over being followed.

You’re a renter, right? Yeah, I rent. It’s hard for me to figure out where I want to be. But it’s definitely in New York. I feel like New York throws different challenges at you and you can be more creative.

I hear that your clothing lines, The Row and Elizabeth & James, are breaking into menswear. Was that a natural progression? I think that was our strategy from the beginning. We also have shoes coming out-they’re going to be beautiful. Everything’s looking pretty solid.Source URL: http://doradadama.blogspot.com/search/label/Interview%20Magazine

Nicole Kidman - Interview Magazine

    Nicole Kidman Interview Magazine Pictures

And acording to [Source], actress Nicole Kidman has reportedly been scoffing her face with chocolate and pasta - in order to fatten up for her latest movie role.

The ‘Stepford Wives’ actress has already gained 10lbs to play a middle-aged woman in her new movie ‘The Reader’ by sticking to a four meal-a-day high calorie diet of puddings, protein shakes and carbohydrate-rich foods.

A friend of Kidman’s is quoted as saying: “It’s a very demanding role because there are a lot of explicit lovemaking scenes. The film is set over several decades so her character changes a lot. Nicole was originally planning to use prosthetics but was told by the director, Stephen Daldry, it would be more realistic if she gained the weight.

“It’s not usual to see her work her way through a big plate of pasta, with bread, and then a dessert.”

Kidman, who plays a Nazi camp guard who has an affair with a teenage boy and is later put on trial for war crimes - has reportedly enjoyed one major benefit from her weight gain - bigger boobs!

Kidman’s friend added: “Nicole loves her new bosom, but she is finding eating so much makes her lethargic and sleepy.”Source URL: http://doradadama.blogspot.com/search/label/Interview%20Magazine
