Yes, Stacy Ferguson is woman of the year. It's a music magazine — what did you expect, women who work toward eliminating global warming or world hunger? No, they chose a big girl who doesn't cry. Except she did cry during the interview with Blender when they told her she won. Heck, Fergie cried when she won the Teen Choice Award earlier this year! And she admits in the interview that she cries all the time, even when watching Nip/Tuck.
Fergie has had three excellent reasons to cry in 2007: "London Bridges," "Glamorous" and "Big Girls Don't Cry" were all Billboard No. 1 songs. And she had another two good reasons to cry with "Fergalicious" peaking at No. 2 and "Clumsy" at No. 5. And overall she has had one stupendous reason to shed a tear of joy, with The Dutchess debuting at No. 3 in September 2006 — and nearly one year to the day later the album was still No. 2. Whoa. That's so impressive, I need a tissue to dab my own eyes!
Kate Hudson graces the January cover of 'Vogue' magazine. In the issue she talks about her divorce, her son, and Owen Wilson. Here are some highlights from the interview...
On getting a divorce: “The most difficult thing I’ve ever done in my life. The process of discovering with somebody that you love that you don’t… work is so painful. And thank goodness I did it with Chris… We helped each other through it. Now we’re both single and since the day we separated, we talk multiple times.
On the last year: “It was just an extremely giant sort of leap. I definitely feel like I’ve grown up a lot.”
On shooting Fool’s Gold in Australia: “It was a really interesting time for me. It was right when Chris and I were getting divorced, and I didn’t want to be so far away, because it was hard for us. And it was the first time I sent Ryder to be with Chris while I was working, and that was definitely difficult. But it was probably the best experience I’ve had to date, in terms of everything as a whole.”
On Owen Wilson: "Owen is such a lovely person, and I love him dearly. And I wish him beautiful things — health and everything that he desires in life.”
On fear: “I just love to have fears because I love to be able to conquer them.”a day.”
On why it ended: “We had Ryder, and we both sort of looked at each other and went, ‘Something’s off.’”
On Matthew McConaughey: “We’re like brother and sister! We seem to drive each other crazy in a good way. Matthew kind of puts it perfectly when he says that we fight well and flirt well, and we’re perfect pains in each other’s ass.”
On gaining 70 pounds during pregnancy: “I would be eating ice cream and my mom would literally pry the spoon away from me, saying, ‘You’ve had enough to last you a lifetime.’”
Actress Megan Fox cannot understand why people keep comparing her to Angelina Jolie. The “Transformers” star was overheard expressing her bewilderment over comparisons with the Tomb Raider actress at a recent awards function.
“The only thing we have in common is that we freely expose our tattoos!” she said.
Fox was honoured at the ‘Hollywood Life’ 7th annual Breakthrough of the Year awards in L.A. this week, reports the New York Post.
The actress showed up in a hot little black dress, showing off her right-shoulder tattoo.

On being bullied at school for being too ‘white’: “I was a little confused as a kid because I grew up with my mum, and my mum is black. So I was cultured in a very ‘black’ way. But when I go to school, I’m getting called ‘white’. They would look at me and would curse me out. I didn’t understand. I just knew I saw people of all different shades and I was light. Now I’m in a much bigger world.” On Relationship with Beyonce: “She’s Beyonce, and I’m (her) new protegee. When we see each other we say hi. We’re not enemies, but we’re not `friends’ friends.”
On dating Josh Harnett rumors:“This is what really happened. He and my management, they have each other’s contact information. I went to (the New York club) Pink Elephant, and he came by. All of a sudden, the next day, I’m seeing that we were kissing and hugging up each other. You can’t even go out with a friend who’s a celebrity and have a good time without people making (bleep) up. Well, at least he’s good-looking, right?”
On her “edgy” haircut:“The label didn’t want me to do this look. But cutting my hair, it made me stand out as an artist. I don’t care who likes it — this is me.”
